Kvadrat Showroom IMM

To hold Imm Cologne 2018, this particular space, Kvadrat’s stand at Design Post Cologne, was redesigned to fit its needs. A unique blind system was designed by vertically arranging and connecting panels that were individually wrapped by Kvadrat’s fabric samples. By installing this module at 3 inner walls, this stand turned into a more interactive space where static walls became transparent openings besides entrances.
As this special blind system that can be both opened and closed by using Kvadrat fabrics, the entire stage could either be secluded by closing or be opened to the public by opening.
